How To Make Brown Sugar and Bacon Sloppy Joes
- Cook the bacon.
- Saute the onion and bell pepper.
- Cook the ground beef and drain off any excess grease.
- Add the remaining ingredients and simmer just long enough for all the flavors to come together.
Recipe Tips
For even more flavor, you can add a slice of American cheese to each sandwich.
To make these Sloppy Joes spicy, add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
I like to use ground beef that is 85% lean, but you can use a leaner ground beef if you want or even turkey.
Storage
Leftovers will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.
